Sree Krishnarpanam Seva Society takes birth

Sree Krishnarpanam Seva Society, a service organization dedicated to Krishna bhakti and other spiritual causes, was formally launched at Nanganallur on 2 June, 2013 in the midst of several bhaktas.
A small puja was conducted for Radha-Krishna on the occasion. The prayer song was rendered by Shri  Sankaranarayanan of the Senior Citizens Forum, Nanganallur. The Society was inaugurated by the well-known exponent of Hari Katha, Shri. Keeranur Ramamurthi under the presidentship of Shri J. Sudarson, a reputed philanthropist and a long-time resident of Nanganallur.

During the inaugural address, Shri. Keeranur Ramamurti emphasised, in his short discourse, the unity among the devotees of various faiths and drove home the importance of chanting the holy names of God for a highly charged spiritual life that will mould one’s inner psyche and also the outward character. He reminded the audience about the importance of Krishna worship and recalled, for the benefit of the audience, that all three great acharyas of India, namely Adi Shankara, Ramanuja and Madhwa were common in their understanding that Krishna (or Govinda) is indeed the primeval God.
Shri J. Sudarson, who was elected President of Sree Krishnarpanam Seva Society, spoke of the necessity of day-to-day spiritual practice. Shri. J.K. Sivan, a spiritual writer and the secretary of the Senior Citizens Forum, Nanganallur, told a very interesting story on the significance of Krishna bhakti. Shri. Sundaram Ramachandran (Ram) of www.youiandkrishna.blogspot.com, an ardent Krishna devotee, who was chosen as the Secretary, spoke about the events behind the founding of Sree Krishnarpanam Society.

Major VV Chandrasekaran, President of SCF,and Sri R.Srinivasan, Auditor,in their speech welcomed the need for such societies for moulding the future generation and inculcation of faith in our traditional and spiritual practices.
