O, Krishna!

 

Thou become revealed only by Thy grace.

Thou are unconquerable by any other means.

 

What’s the need to worship all the demigods,

 
                        Who are but Thy limbs, O, Lord of lords?

                     When Thou are worshipped, all of them are worshipped

                      By such worship only are all our sins vanquished.

 

One needs to give up all speculative process,

And chant Thy holy name that ever cleanses

The devotees’ hearts of all contamination,

And keeps them fixed in their determination.

 

Birth, old age, disease, and death

Are the fourfold miseries on this earth.

Why should anyone suffer all these

When one can worship Thee with ease?

 

Everyone is afraid of the fear personified,

Krishna! Thou are the killer of fear personified.

For us, death is never a moment to fear,

To come back to Thee, it’s the most glorious hour.

 

Srila Prabhupada has shown us the devotional path

To return to Thee, O Supreme Absolute Truth.

As fallen souls, we’ve no other way

Than chanting Thy glories all our day(s).

 

Nescience is to suffer all miseries of this world,

Knowledge is to become Thy servitor, my Lord.

Chanting Thy holy names raises us to transcendence,

And redeems us from bondage and nescience.

 

O, Krishna!

Let’s be engaged in Your transcendental service,

By speaking of Thy glories, conquering nescience.
