Prabhupada's Dream Becoming a Reality 

Temple of the Vedic Planetarium coming up in Mayapur, West Bengal, India

In the beginning days of the Mayapur project back in the 1970s all ISKCON had

on this property was one small grass hut. Soon a small temple building, a

kitchen, and a residential quarters followed.

Now there is an entire city

emerging. But the perfection

of the Mayapur project will

be the completion of the

Temple of the Vedic

Planetarium, scheduled to be

completed in 2016. This will be the fulfilment of Srila Prabhupada's order he first

gave his disciples back in the 1960s that such a temple should be constructed in

Mayapur, the birth place of Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.
