An ardent devotee writes to us on Krishna

Sri Krishna, the Epitome of Unconditional Love

Dear Raman,

Highly delighted to receive your mail. There is no need to mention Chandru's reference, as there is ONLY one Raman (I know) who can prolifically write, which is you. Lord Krishna Himself gave me time and inspiration to write the following.

When Sree Krishna took human form in Dwapara Yuga Sandhi(transition) period, the world was in a different dimension than during Lord Sree Ram's times of Treta Yuga.

During Sree Ram's time, Dharma was existing to a very large extent. In Ramayana, within the civilized society of North Bharata Varsha, we find only 3 persons who went against Dharma--Mandara, Kaikeyii and the Washer man (who accused Sree Ram for having accepted Sita Matha from Ravan's lanka). The rest followed Sree Ram's ideals. Southern Bharat Varsha may not have had civilizations and was covered in thick forests of Dandakaranya. Except for Vanara Rajya of Kishkindha, the rest of Southern Bharat Varsha was full of impregnable forests and hills, of course except for a few Tapovans.

But during Sree Krishna's times, people were highly intelligent and reached higher dimensions. The people were highly conversant in reaching and realising physical forms of materialistic pleasures thru Mantra, Tantra and Yantra Vidya by Sankalpa Bala. Such was the mental strength of several people in Dwapara Yuga. Shakti or power in many cases corrupts thinking of humans. Hence, world witnessed strong Adharma in the form of Kauravas and staunch Dharma in the form of Pandavas.

Lord Sree Krishna, the incarnation of Sree Maha Vishnu had to show his Leelas to 'silence' the Abhaktas and Naastiks and change thinking of people. He practiced KRIYA YOGA, a physical manifestation of energy and taught the right path to the aeons to come.

At many times, He had to cross the path of right and wrong and chose to exemplify the ultimate victory of Dharma over Adharma. In the process, He lost all his own kith and kin to Shapas of Gandhari and Durvasa.

He is epitome of unconditional love. All the Leelas he performed in the greatest unattached ways with the final goal of depicting the need to choose Dharma to the future civilizations.

There is a wrong notion on His Rasaleela with Gopikas. In actuality Sree Krishna was just 4-5 years old when he spent time with Gopikas in Brindavan. He only gave them his unconditional love, the way they perceived.

We shall talk more about the Lord.

Thanks again for having awakened this interest to express in me.

Lots of Love,
Venkata Ramam K,
