Radha Is Our Original Mother
For All Universal Beings, Krishna Is the Father and Radha, the Mother
In the Vedic culture, the mother is most sacred. The original mother is Srimati Radharani, the hladini shakti or ecstatic potency of Krishna. Mother Radharani is so worshipable that before we chant Krishna's name we call out first to Mother Radharani by uttering "Hare."

Not only is Radharani sacred. All women are considered sacred and are thus given the highest respect by being addressed as "Mataji" or "Mother."

Nowadays, in the material society, women are encouraged to go half-naked on the streets so that men can lust over their bodies. But in the Vedic culture, all women except one's wife are addressed as mother, thus placing them off limits as objects of sense gratification.
