Without Krishna, Where’s liberation?

Krishna’s the Saviour, the all Supreme Spirit,

His transcendental energies know no limit(s)

He’s the Master; yet, He agrees to be a friend,

A son, a lover, or anything in the devotee’s mind.

Brahman is impersonal; Krishna is personal,

Impersonal Brahman is situated in the personal –

This has been clearly stated in the Gita

And knowing this truth is the highest yoga.

Mayavadis indulge in useless deliberation(s)

But, without knowing Krishna, where’s liberation?

Knowing Krishna is the ultimate realization,

Any other method is bereft of civilization.

Before creation, Krishna was existing,

While creation, in Him, everything’s resting.

After annihilation, Krishna alone will remain

The knower of these truths is in Krishna conscious domain.

Describing Krishna perfects the talk,

Thinking of Krishna perfects the heart,

Hearing His glories perfects the ears,

Surrendering unto Him removes all fears.

He who acts for his own gratification

Is subjected to good or bad reaction.

The one who acts for Krishna’s satisfaction

Goes beyond all action and reaction.

Work done with desire for the fruit –

For material bondage, it’s the root.

Work done as oblations to the Lord

Relieves us from all effects–good and bad.

When everything’s done for the sake of Krishna,

One becomes free from the bonds of all karma.

As anything done for Him is without any defects,

His devotees do not suffer material effects.

Let’s do our fight for the sake of Krishna,

Let’s do our duty for the sake of Krishna,

Without considering loss or gain, win or no win.

By doing so, we shall never incur sin.
